About Us

Central Tire is a family-owned business. It was founded in 1939 by the Therrien family, which operates a retail store under the Carmerica franchise and a wholesale division in Sanford, Maine.

Our retail store specializes in tires and undercar service. We provide alignments, brake service, lube oil and filter changes, chassis parts, exhaust repair, belts, hoses, and minor tune-ups.
